Pulpo 2015 Capabilities Deck
In 2015 I was approached by Pulpo's VP of Marketing to create their new capabilities deck. Having just been acquired by Entravision they hadn't yet fully defined their new brand guidelines, so he was open to ideas. I jumped at the opportunity to offer some creative direction on the overall look, feel and flow of their new deck.
In an effort to ensure the brand felt unforgettable to it's new audiences, I presented the Pulpo logo as a new design element. I used it's shape to direct the flow of content across different slides and the "O" icon as a stand alone figure. Pulpo supplied the hand drawn elements and once mixed with the modern accents and icons it created a extraordinary introduction for this new Entravision company.
Pulpo 2016 Upfront
Entravision Communications Corporation hosted an Upfront presentation to unveil its 2016 omnichannel media platform. Entravision presented its radio programming lineup, digital offerings and celebrated one year since the acquisition of Pulpo, the #1 comScore ranked Hispanic digital network and leading Hispanic mobile network.
Upfront's are exciting and I really wanted to showcase the brands hip new identity with a more minimal, punchy, photographic approach. Less content with powerful visuals support the presenter and let the slides speak for themselves. I carried over the the use of the logo and "O" character for brand consistency and focused on compositing visually striking images that would leave an impact on the room.
